Zeus Tornado = $12000 Click here to order

The Zeus product line is driven by Dual Xeon X5690 Westmere™ processors for a total of 12 cores under the hood. If you need parallel processing and incredibly fast crunching power, you can't get more horsepower than what the Zeus product line offers.

The Zeus Tornado is the less extreme younger brother of the Hurricane. Using an Industrial Strength air-cooling system, the Tornado lives us to its name (keep small childen and pets away from the vortices, please). Stability meets turbulence in the attractively-engineered package, and all 12 cores hit 4.00 GHz for quiet 24x7 operation that you can count on, day after day, night after night.

The stock Xeon architecture has the same processing power as the very popular Gulftown (i7-980X) models that Intel produces. However, there is no way to create a "Dual Gulftown" system, and this is where the Xeon shines. With twice the processing power, the 12 cores in the Dual Xeon X5690 can crush a Gulftown.

This system comes with 12 GB RAM, a 1 TB internal drive, and a 128 GB SSD drive that is already formatted with Windows 7 as a wicked fast boot drive. It also comes standard with a GeForce GTX 580 video card, for high-end video performance. For other configuration options, call 610-818-5063 or send an email to review prices and options.

Standard configuration:

  • Dual Xeon X5690 Westmere processors (12 cores total) overclocked to 4.00 GHz
  • Industrial strength air cooling system
  • 12 GB of very fast RAM @ 2000 MHz (up to 48 GB max)
  • One GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 580 video card
  • Western Digital Caviar Black 2 TB SATA HD @ 3.0 GB/second
  • Very fast Intel X25-M 120 GB Solid State Drive (SSD)
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (all latest patches and updates)

Upgraded configuration:

  • Each additional GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 580: add $550
  • Water-block cooled GTX 590 replacing the standard GTX 580 add $390
  • Each addditional GTX 590: add $890
  • For a total of 48 GB RAM: add $2250
