An overclocked 5.0 GHz Gulftown? Can this be possible? Liquid Nitrogen Overclocking is proud to present the "dream machine", our Trinity Lightning model. True 5.0 GHz speed across 6 cores!

The Intel Gulftown is truly remarkable out of the box, without any overclocking. All six cores are firing at 3.33 GHz on that Westmere micro-architecture, able to run up to 12 threads in parallel, which is really something beautiful to behold. Benchmarkers soon discovered that the 32 nanometer CMOS semiconductor, in conjunction with all of the other improvements, meant that GHz per GHz, the Gulftown was 50% faster than a quad core Bloomfield (the i7-975).

Think about that for a moment. A 3.33 GHz Gulftown delivered the equivalent performance of a 4.995 GHz i7-975.

Computer enthusiasts everywhere were salivating over that news.

But increases in the clock speed across the computer industry as a whole have been creeping along. We first broke 3.0 GHz back in 2002. Internal computer architectures had made considerable gains since then, and more cores have been added as the years have gone on. But for the most part, the clock frequency has hit a thermodynamic brick wall of sorts.

Here it is 8 years since breaking 3.0 GHz, and Intel's flagship product was "only" a 3.33 GHz processor called the Intel Gulftown. Liquid Nitrogen Overlocking has changed all of that, with our introduction of this amazing 5.0 GHz Gulftown.

All six (6) cores of the Intel Gulftown successfully register 5.0 Ghz on CPU-z. The Trinity Lightning, which is the name for this incredible piece of hardware, holds the temperature at -40 degrees even under full load, allowing this machine to run flawlessly for 24x7 operation.

The standard configuration of this 5.0 GHz Gulftown includes:

  • 6 GB of very fast 2000 MHz DDR3 RAM
  • A 128 GB SSD booting Windows 7 (pre-installed) in under 10 seconds!
  • A Western Digital 1 TB internal hard drive
  • A Gigabyte GV-N250 Video card
  • A Sony Optiarc CD/DVD Burner (reads and bruns CDs and DVDs, plays DVDs and CDs)

Customization options are available for this model, so call 610.818.5063 today to discuss how you would like your dream machine configured.
